About Us

Captivating Signs provides custom signage, graphics, and vehicle wraps for businesses. We combine practical planning, creative design, and project coordination.

A Commercial Sign Company Serving Chicago & Naperville Businesses

Commercial signage often involves more than choosing a design. Site conditions, mounting methods, permitting, materials, lighting, access, and installation requirements can all affect the finished project. Captivating Signs helps businesses work through those considerations before production so the signage fits the space and project requirements.

For about 16 years, we have worked with businesses in Naperville and across Chicagoland. Our experience includes building signs, monument signs, illuminated signage, graphics, and vehicle wraps for manufacturing, retail, restaurants, education, and other commercial businesses.

Sign projects in the Naperville area can involve local permitting, seasonal conditions, foundation requirements, and site-specific considerations. We account for those details as we plan each project.

Our Values: What Guides Our Work With Clients

Our values shape how we communicate, guide clients, and approach every signage project.

Responsive Communication

Commercial sign projects can involve several decisions and people. We keep communication straightforward, respond to questions, and keep clients informed as designs, permitting, production, and installation move forward.

Practical Guidance

Every sign has different considerations, including materials, lighting, mounting, and site requirements. We explain the choices involved so clients can select an approach that fits their needs.

Quality Through Planning

We review details such as mounting methods, illumination, materials, access, and site conditions before production. Mockups and renderings also give clients an opportunity to review the proposed design before fabrication begins.

The Experience And Approach Behind Our Signage Work

Our experience, practical approach, and project capabilities shape how we support each commercial signage project.

Turnkey Project Support

We coordinate the major stages of a signage project, from consultation and design through permitting, production, and installation. Depending on the project, we also work with established fabrication, installation, and licensed electrical partners.

Clear Visual Planning

We create mockups and renderings that let clients review the proposed signage before production. For illuminated signs, we can also show daytime and nighttime views and discuss LED colors, lighting configurations, and mounting options.

Experience With Complex Projects

We’ve handled challenging installations, including a roughly 70-foot sign removal that required a swing stage because standard lift equipment could not access the site.

Local Project Knowledge

Naperville-area projects can involve frost-line requirements, underground utility checks, seasonal conditions, and local permitting considerations. Our familiarity with these practical factors helps inform outdoor signage planning.

In-House Production Capabilities

Our production resources include laser cutting, flatbed printing, CNC routing, and vinyl printing. We also work with established fabrication partners when a project requires specialized production.

Long-Term Project Partners

When a project requires specialized fabrication or installation support, we work with established outside partners. Some of these relationships have been built over many years.

Design & Project Planning

We begin with a phone consultation to understand the project and determine what it requires. Our design work uses Adobe Illustrator, Flexi, and Photoshop, helping us develop the visuals and project details needed before production.
